Dr Ana Sofia Sousa is a dentist with a particular dedication to periodontics, the area of dentistry concerned with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the supporting structures of the teeth.
She completed her Integrated Master’s Degree in Dental Medicine at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Viseu Campus, in 2009. Between 2009 and 2019, she practised as a general dentist, progressively focusing her clinical work on periodontics.
Since 2019, her clinical practice has been dedicated exclusively to periodontics, with a particular interest in the treatment of periodontal disease and in periodontal and mucogingival surgical procedures.

Dr Ana Sofia takes an integrated approach to periodontal disease, prioritising evidence-based treatments focused on preserving periodontal health and ensuring the long-term stability of teeth and dental implants.
