Dr Carolina Goulão Pinto is a dentist whose clinical practice is dedicated exclusively to oral surgery, oral medicine and implant dentistry. She has provided specialist clinical care in these fields for several years.
Her practice is entirely focused on the surgical treatment of the oral cavity, with particular interests in advanced oral surgery, implant dentistry and bone regeneration.
She complements her clinical work with continuous postgraduate education in Portugal and abroad. Her principal training includes the Clinical Residency Programme at MEDA Formación, advanced training in bone regeneration with Professor Fouad Khoury, the Oral Medicine and Pathology Programme at the University of Valencia, and specialist surgical training. She also continually updates her knowledge of evidence-based surgical and implant protocols.
She has also worked as a clinical teaching assistant for the Oral Surgery and Oral Pathology Clinical Unit at Egas Moniz, combining clinical practice with teaching and the sharing of knowledge.
Her work focuses on the assessment, planning and delivery of complex surgical treatments, prioritising a predictable approach centred on patient safety and the long-term stability of treatment outcomes.
